Not seen him on TV for years?

Just watched an old QI, and he was so funny & intelligent.

He was intelligent but not funny, IMHO. He was too smug on QI. Even Stephen Fry got annoyed with him for being a know all.
Every 'comedian' has their day, and he's had his.
I seem to remember that his party trick (may have done this on QI) is that he knows the Latin names of every british bird. Not particularly useful :)
>>> Even Stephen Fry got annoyed with him for being a know all

He's not even in the same league as the wonderful John Sessions!
I liked the scouse cockney brummie fella , his only faillng to me was that Aresnal attitude he has... didn't he get lost on a hairy biker venture to white hart lane and got lost along the way.

Clove:
Come to think of of it, he was a bit smug, and kept giving out to many facts, and apart from S/F, J Carr & S Locke made it known.

Goalie:
Last night he did a similar thing about knowing all 33 chemicals off by heart.
I didnt see that in the news, its put me off him now.

Who was on last night Ark?
I'm fairly sure there are more than 33 chemicals.
Oh yes there's at least 37 Jim ;-)
I remember him being part of the 'Who dares wins' team back in the day along side Tony Robinson and Jimmy Mulville he was funny then.
