I have had this email from Euro Union Gold Promotions saying that I have won there lottery they want my name,address,telephone no,mobilen no,fax,email address,date of birth,occupation and marital status has anybody else on answerbank had any emails from this company.Do you think it's real or is it a scam.

I am sure it is real. You have definately won a lottery you have not even entered.

I would rush to send them you name, address and bank details so they can place the huge winings in your account.

I AM SORRY, BUT DO NOT BE SO STUPID, IT IS A SCAM.

Firs they wil ask for an administration fee of say 200 pounds, in you fall for that they will ask you for 500 for local tax, then a thousand pounds for some other stupid thing.

Then you will never hear from them again.

I am surprised people are STILL falling for these type of things.

Thanks vehelpfulguy,there have not asked me for any money or bank details,nor would I give them if they did I will be getting in touch with trading standards on monday.Thanks again for your help.
