using one for all my websites I use regularly, except for banking, PayPal etc, as I am getting fed up with spending so much time, filling in p/w, when they haven't saved, trying to remember, writing them down, and losing it.
And finally having to ask for a txt to be sent. Spend more time retrieving them.

Google have started to ask you, & so have a few others if you want too..

What do you think?

my computer (mac) saves mine. The computer is locked with a separate password and you can’t access the keychain where they are saved without a two part verification system using a separate machine.
I have a password manager programme, all I need to remember is the password for that. I have been told that you should not use the same password for different things. I agree it would be easier though.
It is annoying. I use maybe 4 main ones and vary them across various sites. Mr A cannot remember his passwords either so I end up trying to remember his too.

This looks interesting, so going to give it a go.

Let us know how you get on.
I wouldn't trust ANY app to keep passwords secret. How do you know there isn't a way for the originators to see and use them?
Or try my formula that I have started to use since getting overwhelmed too.

Chose a memorable word of 7 or more letters, but not a family or pet name. Lets use for example, the word charming. Capitalise the first letter and add a number. We have Charming8, now add three letters that relate only to the site in question, such as ANS for answerbank, or AMA for amazon.

We now have Charming8AMA which is quite complex yet quite memorable. You could have another word for banking to be even safer and add a symbol. eg Lob$ter8TSB

Works for me.
One of the best ways to create a secure password is to think of a line from a favourite song or poem, and use the first letters. So, for example "I must go down to the sea again" would give Imgdttsa add a couple of numbers say from date of birth or house number and a £, % or other random sign

I dont have a prob with that goalie, my original Q was about master passwords, but thanks anyway.
But some passwords wont accept £ $ ? etc.
My Google account has a saved password section where all your passwords are stored. I can log into my Google account by using my registered mobile phone .
I have online banking but it uses a pinsentry not a password.
So no danger of anyone getting my bank details or cash.
