Released without charge, thank goodness for that.
Indeed.

don't tell nailit he'll have her brought in for stoning!
What's your reaction to the outcome?
Question Author
well a woman walking down the street is not a crime in any civilised nation mamy so I think it's the correct outcome.
Yes, we agree.
Little gestures like this by a very brave lady will break down the barriers eventually. The fact she's been released would seem to indicate that the SA authorities knew that the worlds social media and news outlets were 'interested' in the result.

It's a very surprising outcome but it is a good step in the right direction.

The woman did this on purpose and will have known that she could be severely punished for her actions. What a strange planet we live on where women can wear almost nothing on a beach in a tourist resort and in another country, in a similar location, women have to wear something akin to a tent when going out.
You ought to have been a politician the way you twist things around 3T. As has been pointed out you made a non sequitur. I point out that you wish to make prisons harsher while at the same time criticizing the harshness of others, and somehow from that you interpolate that I condone stoning women?
Nice try

Question Author
nailit, wanting prisons tougher is hardly analogous to the "crime" of walking down the street. You are the one in fantasy land.
