Installing Office Upgrade

Not being a whiz kid I am asking your help regarding installing an updated version of office. I am on office 2007 at present and considering either 2013 or 2014. Do I just need to save all folder and files to flash drive, then delete 2007, then install 2013 or 2016, then re-install folders and files from flash drive. Many thanks in advance for your advice. Terry

No, why do you think you would need to do that?
Uninstall (not Delete) Office 2007, install Office 2013.
BTW there's no such thing as Office 2014.
