Had to phone 101 to give information on a missing person.

I was scared what I had to say wouldn't be helpful but I was assured by my dad OH and the officer I spoke to that what I had to say was a great help.

The gentleman has thankfully been found safe in a town near by.

I am so relieved. I've never seen so much panic in another person before.

oh Queenie :-(

Any and all info given is helpful, might not seem like a lot of info but we'll never know if the bit of info that was given was the piece that fits the puzzle xx

Thank you Alba.

I'm just so glad that he's been found.

I just hope that what I said played a part.

I just can't stop shaking right now xx
deep breath honey.
You did the absolutely right thing.
I hope the person is now getting any and help they need

I hope so too. I read the post and I twigged when I saw the name and the timing and location and when his wife came to the shop distressed asking to use the phone.

She's been in a few times recently so I'm glad she felt comfy enough to come and ask to use our phone
any and all
should be in my reply somewhere.

You're a lovely caring lass Queenie, the world needs more like you xx

Thank you Alba :) I can't help it..I've been like this since I was a tot apparently always caring about someone or something.

I hope they get all the help and stuff too
Mr Alba says I'm soft lol
I tell him I'm not, I'm just interested in people.
If being interested, concerned about others makes me soft, then so be it lol
(He is a pussy cat really)
Question Author
Aww Bless Alba..it's good to care though no matter what.

I get people come into the shop and over time I've got to know them and them me and they ask how I'm doing.

I do it because I care and I worry.

This woman was on my mind all day. I really wanted to find her and call her a cab and pay to have it take her home but I couldn't get away. Even though I was having a laugh earlier on Ab today my mind was still on her even though I didn't know he was missing.
sometimes a laugh on AB helps keep us grounded xx
I know that sounds weird, maybe just takes our minds off something and then we have the 'light bulb moment' and then decide to do what we think and hope is the right thing
Question Author
It does.

Anyways I'm going to go watch telly with OH for a bit chill out before bed :)

Thank you for your kind words Alba
after I fished a kid out of a crowded pool

Thpain and the teenager 'looking' after her, was doing like ' what yer done dat for den?' in Thpanith of course - fully clothed three year old - she spouted water from her mouth like a whale

I had nightmares for weeks - [sank like a stooooone to the bottom of the pool un noticed and I had found her 20 m later.]
Queenie, you do take after your Mum :)
Question Author
I do indeed Woofgang.

I have people telling me she isn't really dead - as I'm so like her.

I have people who I don't know but knew her saying it. It is a comfort though to me :)
