As you you know my house ceiling has to be finished on Thursday.

Would it help the guys for me to give loads of coats over the "cemented bit" so all they have to do is give the whole ceiling a cuppla coats.

If this is a good idea - I have lots of paint, matt and silk emulsion, undercoat and gloss - am thinking this would be a good idea. Would it be a good idea. Thanks

^^^^ sorry forgot to mention what paint should I use
Watered down emulsion over the fresh plaster was the advice I was given.
I think you should leave it for the decorators to decide what's best. As long as they've done a good job so far, leave them to get on with it.
ditto ummmmm a waterey emulsion undercoat..or two..then paint NOT gloss...
Maybe ask the guys for advice ? Then you'll know it's what they'd do.
I would leave it to the chaps though Conne..

ok I didn't see Builder's reply that night - so will leave it to the experts then and also by Thursday it will have completely dried out too.
