Tomorrow is the official date of the Thunder Moon but, since the alignments of the Sun, Earth and Moon don't match up exactly to any specific hour, you might as well say that it's tonight (and the next few nights) anyway: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/0/complete-list-every-full-moon-2017-including/

the tides are up down here too.....will the ghosts of the cemetery next door rise up tonight and have a quick 'whooo'?
05:09 tomorrow morning! Looked great on tv from SW19!
Lucky you!

Getting there but needs to clear the cloud line here.

that looks like a bloody big tennis ball to Martina and Boris.....
>>> 05:09 tomorrow morning!

Oh, all right, they do match up to a specific time if you're being really pedantic but the difference over a few hours isn't really noticeable to the naked eye.
Maybe to Boris , , , the size of the hole in his bank balance?
A beautiful sky.
To be honest, I've had a 160 mile drive to do for each of three nights during the past week and I'm rather fed up of seeing the moon (but not half as fed up as for seeing the ruddy M40 and M25 for mile after mile!)

I think that the full moon effect has hit tonight - the birds are howling in the trees outside and the cats are mesmerised by them.

Apart from the odd spider (Frankie says they are tasty) they have never hunted and/or caught anything. Poor example of feral kittens.

When I was a child in Ireland I love the full moon......

My Uncle John who was the loveliest, gentle man would go funny.... luckily it really was funny funny.....

His antics were fantastic.....sometimes he would wash his hands in the bowl...no running water...go out the back door....in the front and wash his hands again and again.....for hour after hour....all the while reciting poetry....round and round.....

It was when he started singing to the moon that we children loved it.......

That sounds cruel of us....but I don't think it was...it was just what happened as part of our normal life....x
^^^ If that was 'normal life' during your childhood, Gness, it probably explains quite a lot about you ;-)
I suppose as it was normal for me, Chris.....it does..... :-)
But hey!....It was and is a fun life.... :-)
