Good morning folks. I have a relatively old iPhone 5 that I use exclusively for listening to Podcasts in bed. They make me fall asleep easily and sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night I put another on and it helps me sleep again. It has no SIM card and is connected only with WIFI. Lately it has been behaving strange in that when I try to tap the Podcast App, it jumps to a different one . Not always. Or won't open. I have tried a couple of times to restart it, makes no difference. Any ideas ??

has ios stopped updating? I know it does with the older phones because I have still got my old iphone as a spare....what they happens is that apps update for the new ios and become unreliable on older phones....its just a thought

Could be Woofie. I haven't updated this one years. I will see if I can. Apple really know how to make us buy new phones don't they!
Can you delete all other apps except your podcast one?

No, that is not it. It says I have the latest update iOS9.3.5. I think that is about as far as the"5" goes?
The 5 is compatible with ios10. I'd update if I were you.
