She may well have been up before the beak and told to button it for the foreseeable.
Some chance of that when Nicola knows best.
It's either IndyRef2 shelved or "I decided that the electorate were wrong so we're going ahead anyway because that's how stubborn I am".

She should have held back on this. SNP were always going to lose a few seats in 2017 but clearly the "let's keep the UK together" vote in Scotland wouldn't have been quite so important had she been more sensible and delayed a second referendum until *after* Brexit was completed and its effects understood, rather than trying to rush it through.
After Arlene Foster managed to squeeze extra dosh for NI out of the Government and Carwyn Jones demanded more dosh for Wales last night, she will surely fall back on the vote winner.......more dosh for Scotland. No need to guess where all this "extra" funding for NI, Wales & Scotland comes from. The day draws ever closer to when the English demand independence, and the closing of the purse and the cutting of apron strings once and for all. :))
The Scottish government is to launch an official complaint with the UK government about the £1bn extra money going to Northern Ireland as a consequence of the Tory/DUP deal...
Ahh bless, in the style of why is little brother getting the same pocket money as me. :))
The SNP MP Pete Wishart says he has been granted permission to apply for an emergency Commons debate on the £1bn Tory/DUP deal.
"The Scottish government is to launch an official complaint against the UK government about the NI deal". There is no legal/ constitutional mechanism available to a devolved parliament called an "official complaint". Yet more grandiose, meaningless posturing by the SNP.
And another thing. To call that ghastly, desiccated calculating machine Sturgeon after my former, lovely neighbours Ian and Janette Tough (The Krankies) is an insult to them and potentially libellous!
Stand by for Sturgeon! Speaker Bercow rejects application for emergency debate on £1bn Tory/DUP deal.
Give us a couple billion like NI or we go indyref2.
Perhaps she is going to announce that Scotland, along with England is going to divorce Londonistan since Westminster, the London media and London civil service seem to think we dont exist anyway?
Sturgeon shelves plans for second referendum bill until autumn 2018 at earliest

Sturgeon says the Scottish parliament has a right to call a second referendum.

The SNP has now won two elections on this platform, she says.

The mandate the Scottish government has is “beyond doubt”.

But deciding when to exercise it is a matter of judgment. And she says it must be exercised in the interests of the nation as a whole.

She says she respects those who don’t want a referendum. Others want one tomorrow.

But she says many people do not fall into either category. They worry about the future. They think it is not right to have a referendum “right now”.

They want more clarity, about Brexit and about the alternatives.

And they want the Scottish government to focus on getting the best Brexit deal.

She says that is even more important given the opportunity, “however narrow”, of keeping the UK in the single market.

Sturgeon says she still wants to give people a choice at the end of the Brexit process.

She will reset the plan, she says.
Wise move, bide her time ,as every other politician should until terms of brexit agreed ( if ever they are ).

och nooo! the wee shoggy's a sassanach! She's in beed with heeethens!
not another flipping vote looming, fgs.

If Scotland votes for Indy, which she wants us to do so we 'come to our senses' what then?
UK will have left the EU, so she'll have to govern on her own without the backup of EU or Westminster.
Going it alone Nicola can be a scary thing
Alba I doubt there will be any voting required any time soon, a bit of voter apathy around Scotland just now .
Voter apathy all over the UK Anne. We are all 'voted out' !
