Champagne, Annieasquith, champagne? Don't you know that's the Devil's buttermilk? ;-))
Fairy Nuff. The latter two probably cost May vital votes. Supreme folly to even hint at disadvantaging the grey vote, which makes me think she is not really fit to be PM, and I say that as a die-hard Tory.
Fair enough sandy :-) maybe gay men and women can marry ?
I thought there wasn't a magic money tree?

Or is there a secret compartment of taxpayer money somewhere in Tory HQ labelled "IN CASE OF DESPERATION TO CLING ON TO POWER, BREAK GLASS"?

Right next to the other emergency compartments for wars and tax cuts etc.
Hopefully gay rights have been included but I doubt it very much!! Its disgusting the way the DUP abhor gay rights.
Annie, they already can, as long as their proposed partner is of the opposite sex.
The DUP believe any other arrangement would be contrary to what the bible teaches.
I presume if any measure on gay rights came to a vote, Labour and Lib Dems would support it and the DUP votes wouldn't have any effect?
Also, does anyone know if this increase in funding requires the subsidies to Wales and Scotland to be adjusted due to the Barnett formula? I'm not familiar with exactly how it works.
A caring sharing political party right enough Sandy :-(
I welcome this.
The government needs reining in: if it takes the DUP to do it so be it.
I am pretty much with the NI Alliance voter who said that although he plainly does not support the DUP he is appalled at the dismissive and arrogant way they are dismissed by British voters.
We could do with more deals and coalitions in my opinion. Our politics is becoming increasingly polarised.
//Will there be a DUP MP serving as deputy PM? //

No. This is not a coalition.
I think this might work quite well for con. They have abandoned some unpopular ideas and can “blame” it on the DUP
Will the DUP order a celebratory cake from the baker in NI?
Krom, Northern Ireland has been underfunded for years so I doubt that this will affect how much Wales or Scotland get.
First thought is, why'd it take so long ?

Next, that we'll need to see how the various factions actually react as opposed to the inevitable loud objecting.

Third thought is that it probably wasn't necessary, but maybe it'll give the government the confidence to tell the wreckers that there is no justification for pretending we have to have a so called "soft" Brexit so they can stick their calls for a crippled UK after exit somewhere where those trying to restore our nation won't be bothered by it.
Meanwhile the DUP has to get it's act together and get the Stormont government up and running again.

Unless there is an agreement by this Thursday 29th June , direct rule will have to be reintroduced. That will mean an election in NI and the possibility that the DUP will lose seats.
Where do you get that idea from? Imposition of direct rule does not require an election.
No there was an election when the previous administration ended. If direct rule was imposed now there would not be yet another one.
It was good to see Sinn Fein react positively to the terms obtained by the DUP for its support of the British govt
Extraordinarily there actually COULD be another election it seems!
