Am I Missing The Good Stuff At Glastonbury?

Am I just getting old ( . . . er, no, don't bother answering that . . ) or is Glastonbury rather boring so far this year?

Apart from an excellent set from the wonderful Ata Kak and a decent, if somewhat predictable, performance from The Jacksons, I've found little that's been worth turning my telly on for.

Have I missed anything worthwhile?

^^^ Probably a wise decision, Smow ;-)
Over hyped.
I think Balders found something to his taste last night, but I haven't, like Smow, seen it.
Have only heard the critique of Radiohead and Kris Kristofferson.

Must be your age Chris, lots of good bits under the Red Button.
Only if you want to talk about it forever after...
It's always been form over function.
Not always Rob. In the 70s it was a place to go and hear 'underground' music. Music that wasn't mainstream. Which meant you were with likeminded souls for a few days. Now it's just a live overcommercialised money making behemoth with no real integrity. Jeez, I sound like an old hippy.
nothing wrong with old hippies x

I'm using the red button, Baldric, and I still can't find anything good.

For real energy on a festival stage I'd rather watch this. Norwegian superstars Marcus and Martinus were only 13 years old at the time but they could teach some of the Glasto performers a thing or two!

Peace Alba. X

Z-M:
As a lover of 'world music', I'm always open to anything which isn't 'mainstream'. (That's probably why the Ghanaian rapper, Ata Kak, is my choice for the best performer so far at this year's Glasto).

What worries me is that most of what's made its way onto telly from Glasto so far has been both 'mainstream' and 'second rate'.

Except, of course, that Glastonbury Festivals Ltd is a non-profit organisation. (All profits from the festival are either ploughed back into future events or donated to charity).
I enjoyed watching Royal Blood. They were fantastic. Then, The Foo Fighters came on and I got bored with them and went to bed.
Buenchino: Liked the wee Norsemen.
Hi Buen, I'm watching Barry Gibb at the moment .. :0/
the crowd likes it

and are you there somewhere in the crowd ?

whilst I am at it - thx for your help on AB over the last year
and it all comes from Farmer Eavis twenty or thirty years ago, saying _
I think I can give a place for young people to play their music
I wish I'd thought to Google this giving the line up, missed loads I'd love to have watched .. http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk
Just realised, I can watch what I missed on catch up, least I know where to look!
There was an actor on there did a set I'd like to watch again, caught him being interviewed and can't remember his name.
