My friends like my SJ views, so they've invited me to a feminist picnic. Like everyone else, I've been asked to make sandwiches to share around. Anyone any idea what I should make, or what they would like?

Precisely, Balders.
Jackdaw: Don't think tripe would appeal to everyone as a filling...
Spam, Tripe and Flakes - this sounds like a good picnic.

I'll bring Volly Vonts.
What sort of bread would complement the tripe? Lol
Such gatherings might well have a higher proportion of veggies than the general population, so it might be best to avoid meat.

A couple of my own favourites are Stilton cheese with mango chutney (on granary bread, or similar) and peanut butter, celery and cottage cheese (on any good brown bread).

Carrot and raisin could also be worth considering:

PS: I still think that your original idea (Spam) is best ;-)

Thanks for some great ideas, it's become a lot easier than I thought. I've went for granary bread, with nuts and raisins topped with honey or Roquefort cheese.
