Candy Crush on my android phone has once again reverted to a slightly different format, for no obvious reason (though this time it did coincide with the phone being switched off for a while). At the moment I'm unable to access magic helmets or the weekend competition. I have done quite well in the comp in the past, and am wondering whether this is the game's way of stopping me from winning....but seriously, I've tried rebooting, switching off completely and on again, and nothing works. In the past it has come back after a few hours but I haven't been able to pin down what triggered it. Any ideas, please?

Are you sure you are connected to the internet on your phone? I play every day but must admit I'm not aware of a weekend competition. Magic helmets do appear now again though.

Yes, definitely connected. The weekend competition (to win boosters) usually involves getting as many striped candy combinations as possible.
