Without seeming disrespectful to Jo and her family, who have lived through and continue to live through a hell I can't comprehend.
Of course I never met her but she had the type of smile that could light up a dim room.
Every day is a designated 'day' of some kind, many mean nothing to me and others do - the notion of 'Togetherness' is something to be embraced, not necessarily in the physical sense of hugging someone you can't abide (too cheesy by half)but accepting we are all together on this planet and to a greater or lesser degree share it woes and wonders.

sunny-dave, my pleasure. From a personal point of view I don’t like national ‘group hugs’ that take advantage of human emotion to generate support. For that reason I don’t join in with Children in Need or Comic Relief either. If other people want to do it that's their choice, but it isn't for me. I trust that answers the question.
