I have a Caution on my last DBS Childrens and young persons act 1933 S(1)
Wilflly Assaulting/Ill-Treating child or youg person on 12 November 2001
Can I remove it

I believe that you would have to ask the police to remove it. And only then would they, if no offence was commited.

That offence is on the list of offences that will never be filtered from a DBS certificate, so you can't get it removed from your DBS

what would you be appealing if it happened ?
getting it taken off would mean it didnt happen
but that is not true is it ?

the law says you can insist of accurate up to date records
I write to the police at least once a year about my tenants
('that awful tenant of mine has moved' is usually the message)
but here I am not sure what appeal point you would make.
