I can understand reducing the price of a Buy it Now item...but raising it...why?
I've got an item on my Watch list that was 9.99 for a while. When re-listed a week ago it was 7.99...fine. But on Sunday it was up to 10.99, and today it's 15.99! The postage has also waffled around. I've seen this happen before...makes me very wary of such sellers. Why do they do it?

Because they can ?
Do folk commonly follow the actions of a single seller in detail ?
Make them an offer of £7.99.
I have occasionally raised the buy it now price if I see a lot of interest coming in.
If you want it the best bet is to grab it while you can.

I was only watching it as I was curious to see if it would be grabbed quickly...it didn't seem to be what the seller claimed.
As already mentioned, it's probably because there's been a lot of recent interest in it.
I bought something from Ebay for £36.99 (buy it now) and later I needed another, so I bought another one, same price.
It was still on my watch list and I noticed a week or so later that the price had increased to £38.99.
Out of curiosity, I've just had another look at it and it's back down to £36.99 - maybe due to lack of interest?? 600 sold so far .....
