It's time he retired, or rather the BBC retired him. He's too concerned about being 'Paxman' than he is about actually getting information from the politicians.

Haha, Mother Theresa came on like Joyce Grenfell and left like the Cheshire Cat.

What a waste of an hour I'll never get back, Paxman was so unprofessional,, should be sacked, was it TM who objected to her and Corbin being questioned together ?
I haven't seen this interview, but I've questioned Paxman's sanity - sorry professionalism - on here before. It doesn't surprise me that he's being criticized again.
In trying to give both May and Corbyn a hard time, he made himself look silly and gave the viewer nothing.

John Humphreys should take note as well. If you want a politician to answer a question, let them actually answer it rather than continually interrupting them to tell them to answer it.
Sounded very much like Corbyn wouldn't take out the likes of Jihadi John

Via media, it WAS Theresa may who refused to have a " head to head " debate, one wonders why ?
'And, asking the questions?.... Jeremy Paxman'

(as long as they are prepared and written down)

What can he do? not much else!

Allow them to answer would be a start.
I have watched snatches of the debates earlier this morning.

I have always been a fan of Paxo, but from what I have seen, he really didn't do himself any favours at all last night. He just badgered both May and Corbyn, continually interrupting them and didn't let them finish any point made to them. He came over as hectoring, in the extreme.

Not a very good day for Paxo, or democracy I fear.
Complete fool and shame channel 4 dragged him out of retirement for this.

Lets see how the BBC do on Friday using David Dimbleby.
Jeremy Paxman was trying too hard to play up to his reputation as a Rottweiler. He didn’t succeed.
naomi; I think you should apologise to all Rotweilers.
:o)
no idea how this burke ever gets to interview anyone beyond the teletubbies, all he does is waste the entire interview goading rather than getting anything salient/useful/sensible out of the interviewee. Another left over from Saint Tony and the TCOGB crowd,
murdo: "Of course we haven't, scooping, but that's not the point! The lady who posed the question said that the only reason she voted to leave was that she genuinely believed the spin from the leave campaign that, ONCE WE HAVE LEFT THE EU, there WILL be £350m a week given to the NHS which would otherwise have been given to the EU" - so she was iliterate then?? Why are people still trotting this BS out, no one said that, it was not on the side of a bus. The statement said that we would have £350m a week to spend ourselves, rather than giving it to the EU. The NHS is just one of many places that it could be spent. Why are project fear incapable of reading?
"
John Humphreys should take note as well"

Not to mention that tone he has, where he starts to stress every other word, trying to make a point sound so incredibly simple, and so patronising at the same time, as if he thinks even a moron could get this, and therefore the guy he's talking to must be less than a moron.

Ugh.
