Well, two weeks is a long time in politics. So who knows?

Strong poll performances from one can sometimes spur the opposing side into action; or, perhaps, local variations will come into play; or perhaps the polls still aren't able to correct reliably for the "Labour bias" that polls in this country have shown traditionally, or something.

Or perhaps this is the first real indication of the shock to come.
