For raising the security threat to critical. AFTER the terror attack here in Manchester. Thank you for allowing this terrorist to carry out murder when your wonderful security forces already knew what he was planning. Thank you.

To be absolutely clear.... I am not suggesting that people shouldn't be allowed to advocate mass internment as a solution to this if they want to. I just think you need to be honest about what you're advocating when you think about what "ban Islam" actually means.
blaming the PM doesn't help one iota, you can't foresee every nut job out there who wishes to do us harm.
perhaps he was on the radar, but as seen before home grown terrorists seem to act alone, except for the 7/7 bombings of course.
PeterPedant, //dear dear eddie Naomi has told you a thousand times there is no comparison between now and then - so please be told for chrissakes//

Morning my little stalker. Coo, that makes at least twice today you’ve picked up specifically on my posts. Who’s a lucky girl then? ;o)

Actually, I have never said there’s no comparison between now and then. What I have said is that there can be no comparison between the Irish situation and Islamic terrorism. I haven’t said you are ‘radicalised’ either. An odd claim, but your posts are odd so it comes as no real surprise. You have a penchant for making it up as you go along.

Eddie, will you please stop trying to underplay these atrocities. Not only is it an insult to the thousands of victims, it's an insult to the readers' intelligence. People were not more afraid during the Irish troubles than they are now. What we are currently experiencing is not confined to our shores – the whole world is affected.

Emmie, the security services don’t believe that this man was acting alone.
Eddie and all the others that saw fir to take just one of my ideas and take the pee.
The flag I was thinking of was that black jihadi thing. It represents terror and should be banned.
As for me being ignorant, have you looked in the mirror lately? Do you not see a problem here, you seem to be down playing it - why?

And yes nice to see the usual riducue me but as pointed out, nothing from them. Put something up so I can take you to task. I am not saying I have the answers but at least I am not afraid to put forward something for discussion. No one thing will fix this.

Remember the words from Mr Burke, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

And nothing coupled with hand wringing is what I am seeing from many
To even grapple with all the complex issues requires people from various fields and not just politicians with their trite statements and perennial expressions of regret.

Who are the great thinkers, orators, logical planners and negotiators in today's world.

I'm struggling with this one...
"And yes nice to see the usual riducule me but as pointed out, nothing from them. Put something up so I can take you to task."

Is it not possible that there isn't a solution though?

Maybe I'm not informed enough, but I really can't see that there is one. It would be a bit dishonest of me to just draw up something half-baked that I didn't actually think was a serious suggestion.

I don't think it's fair to just expect people to shut up if they don't have a solution in mind.
Firstly bulldoze the mosque in Didsbury this monster came from, secondly do not allow any more mosques to be built in this country !! I can dream, can't I ..... ?
Didn't Salman Abedi leave Didsbury Mosque because he disagreed with their condemnation of ISIS?

I don't know where this come from exactly, it's what they were reporting on LBC earlier.
Ah, I didn't know that ...
Goodness me, what an unjust and ill thought out rant in the OP.

Who was Prime Minister during the 7/7 London Bombings? I'm pretty sure it wasn't Theresa May.
