You can't ban religion but you can ban faith schools and it should be done immediately. No permissions should be given for any new religious buildings either particularly mosques.

That small and particularly benighted area of the Middle East that pops up very successful religions (I can think of three real toppers) has always puzzled me. Even at school I used to wonder why we spent so much time worshipping an Arab boy who went from being a carpenter to something else....
My conclusion is that their lives must have been so bad that they got to be good at escapism. Two millennia on and the improvement if any is hardly visible - they are still ruled by fierce blokes with long beards and even longer knives, women and girls are mere chattels and stoning is still drawing large audiences, so maybe they'll come up with another one.....
To talk about The United Kingdom banning religions rooted in this area is fatuous - maybe in another couple of millennia.....
DTC at 18:16, Ahmadiyya Muslims are moderates. They’re the people who lined Westminster Bridge in protest after the attack there. It was one of their number who was murdered for wishing the rest of us a happy Easter, and, allegedly, for claiming to be a prophet – a definite ‘no no’ because Mohammed was, apparently, the last of those. Disrespecting Islam you see, just as the Danish cartoonists and Charlie Hebdo disrespected Islam. The people we’re discussing are Sunni, by far the largest group to which most of the Muslims in Europe belong and to whom the term ‘moderate’ is an insult because it implies a failure to follow the faith fully. That group includes IS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, the Taliban (wherever they may be), the murderers of Lee Rigby, the poppy burners ….. I won’t go on. You get my drift. I hate to say it, but the west is full of ‘useful idiots’. Islam is laughing at us.

Religion is far too important to many to deem it a hobby or pastime I'm afraid...

Religion of whatever stripe cannot be banned but they all need to be put firmly in their place.
Unfortunately, lost in all of the events of the last 24 hours is the fact that the 'good guys' are every bit as willing to call upon an imaginary entity to bless their every word and deed.
It's a big ask to make any dent of progress.

Antidisestablishmentarianism is the fundamental problem.
The problem isn't Religious Education

It is Religious Indoctrination
