Keep a written record, a log, of every verbal exchange that you have, if possible try to record it, get some cctv gadget fitted (pretty cheap these days), if its verbal abuse by phone, record it, all of this will help in the future should it escalate, good luck.

i'm sorry to hear this ,it what way are you been bullied? x
Depends on what he/she is doing.
do you have any family that can speak to them ? if it is threatening or intimidating then speak to police...if it is just snidey perhaps age concern will help ? or another younger neighbour ??

Are you renting from your local authority? are they living there long, have any other neighbours mentioned the neighbour being a bully, I'd report the person to the landlord if you are renting, I'd let your gp know, it can't be good for your mental health and if you have family close tell them, you must be in a desperate state. As suggested keep a diary, verbal abuse is disgraceful and while I can't help legally or advise, I know they may not need to phone you, just their demeanour that no one else can pick up on can be hurtful, I have a friend, in her 50's going through the same in her workplace, no one sees it and sometimes she feels she is going crazy, after keeping a diary, telling people and keep going to her bosses, she's now on paid leave while they deal with the bully. You need to let the bully know others know about them, that you are not alone and they won't intimidate you - best of luck, I know it can't be easy
yeah I think you need a cheap CCTV jobby
collect evidence - you say it is every few months
and then go to the police

She banged on her window yelling at me about going near her car, which she is paranoid about, I was only strimming my grass about 100 yards away from the car. She then came rushing out of her house yelling and sceaming ,saying she hoped I`ll die soon and that I`m just jealous of her, believe me ,there`s nothing to be jealous of, this is not the first time, she seems to do it every few months.Usually when I`ve walked past her car which I have to do as it`s a public right of way between the cottages. Is it possible to get a solicitors letter to her? I`m getting very upset about all this. I`n not sure if I`ve answered in the right place, it`s changed a lot since I was on here, Thanks, Nita
Have you told any of your family about this? Try and get one or two of them to go talk to her, explain your concerns and warn her that if this unreasonable behaviour continues you will contact the police, a solicitor and the local council with a view of getting a court order out on her. Don't forget to log every incident, every exchange and if possible get it recorded, easily done these days with a mobile phone.

Hi , just to say I`ve taken all your advice and reported my neighbour to the police.I am awaiting a visit from my local policeman and will see what happens next. Many thanks for all your help, Nita x
Smart move.
Hope you get the nasty piece of work sorted Nita. I remember you nicely from ages ago, didn't realise you too had a different name now. I was Sharingan. Hope the police have a word and it all stops. x
