How do i go about taxing my new car?
I've insured it but only got the log book from previous owner, do i just take this into the post office?
Any advice please?

tax it online here, you will need the V5C/2 (green slip) - https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax
The previous owner should have kept the main V5 and sent it off with your details and given you the green slip (V5C/2) if you have the V5, fill it in with your details, tick the new keeper box and send it off, you will get a new one in your name.
