I am thinking about becoming a nurse (still not out of highschool) and I have some questions. The areas I would want to specialize in are either pediatrics or maternity. If I became a maternity nurse would I have to make house calls? Also what are the hours for each? What are the daily tasks of each? How much schooling would I have to get?

if you like the maternity side of things, consider becoming a midwife, that's practically the same thing but better income.
