Me. Been to bed for two hours but woke up desperate for a wee. Was going to go straight back till I noticed a half-drunk G&T and a half -smoked ciggie on my table so I could be around for the next hour or so.
Yes. Because it was a long journey back home.
Not thought about bed yet, though to be fair I haven't got to be up early.

Just done a supermarket shop.
I'm always up at this hour. My normal bedtime is near 1am...whether I'm working or not
Not my bedtime yet. Still doing crosswords and sudokus. And reading posts on here.
Just moved back over here from over there, soon be heading for my pit though.
Pit. Good old-fashioned RAF word.
I'm reading a great book. Lucky I don't have to get up in the morning.
Just had a peep on here as I think there's a sad bit coming up in the book. Need to refresh with a drink and loo.

What a lot of night owls! I got engrossed in a book after posting the question! I would so love to go to bed and have a normal full nights sleep like most people.
Smow...maybe try melatonin. Some recommendations here...

Smow - Have you tried exercise? Go out for a long walk, get yourself physically tired.

That does actually work.

Apart from the melatonin I've tried everything, even swimming every day. Absolutely nothing works and it's getting to the point that I don't actually feel very well.
Well I was out about 20 minutes later than I posted. I too would like a good night's sleep every night, but my problem isn't dropping off, it's waking up a few times and eventually being awake 2 to 3 hours before I want to. All advice I've seen have been about dropping off, not staying dropped off for 8 hours.
