thankyou for that .I want it for our hall which gets a lot of traffic from kitchen ,bathroom and lounge I have some samples laying in the hall at the moment it looks really nice but as it is expensive I thought i'd try and get some advise xx
We've had our's down in the kitchen for nearly 10 years.
You can get cheaper alternatives, but our's is still gong strong and when it's been cleaned and polished, it looks like new.
Dead easy to clean as well - highly recommended :)

oh lovely Gizmonster thankyou , i'm off to order it tomorrow :-)xx
I'm just about to use it in a house that I'm building, Mally. It's one of the best around.

Is it cat-proof? My two like to exercise their claws on the carpets - could they do that with Karndean?
It's fairly bomb-proof, Woolfers, but cats will do what they like.

They would have to be ..... er ... discouraged ;o)
As you say - cats do what they like.

thankyou The Builder i'm convinced now xx
I am pretty certain this is the make I put on our entrance piece of corridor probably more than thirty years ago. It has performed extremely well and I think people would agree that it looks more or less as good as when it was fitted. As all synthetic materials, it has shrunk over time ever so slightly so there is now a tiny gap between adjacent strips but it is nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. What I should point out is that I have maintained (every 2-3 years at most) a film of liquid floor polish on it. Also, we are meticulous at minimising scuffs and grinding by keeping it clean of any soil, grit etc., and we have a carpet rug on centrally about 80 % of the total area so it is shielded from the most aggressive type of wear. When it has come up, people have assumed it is genuine wood parquet (it is in a "natural wood" colour).
