yes it is
Heartbreaking in a way for those left behind, but so lovely for them.
No it's NOT sad.
It would have been sad if one had died leaving the other to survive for perhaps a few more years.....alone...in a home...with just memories..........that WOULD have been sad.
BUT, both dying, basically together, is JOYFUL.
Sqad has it right here....not sad at all, but tough on the surviving relatives of course.
I agree with Sqad. The ideal way to go. Those left behind will just have to cope, as they always have to when parents die - much worse when it's the children who die first.

It's so lovely, brings a tear to the eye.
What a lovely way to go. I agree with Sqad, it would have been awful for one to be left behind.
ahhhhh...together forever x
I also agree with Sqad. My grandparents have been married for the same length of time. They are devoted to each other.

Sounds to me like this couple had a good life and a good death which is probably the best one can ask for.
What a lovely sad story, and if you saw Missing that was on TV last night, you would understand what long married couples go through when one dies.
erm excuse me... they're dead arent they ?

you know like a life affirming couple because they arent alive
affirm has coe to have a completely new AB meaning
PP it must be being so cheerful that keeps you going.
A couple died within 40 mins of each other ,sad, but at least neither had to suffer life without their partner.
It is sad they died, but heart warming that they are still together.

I hope the family take comfort in that.
Thanks em x
