I've just seen the Moneysupermarket advert featuring Skeletor and He-Man. I know I'm risking all sorts of daft answers, but why is He-Man loading a stack of bananas into his car??

As I see it, the implication is that even super-heroes do mundane things (such as supermarket shopping) for much of the time. However trying to make sense of MoneySupermarket ads (or, indeed, most of the output from the Mother London advertising agency, which makes those ads) is probably a hopeless task anyway ;-)
Dumbest ad on TV?

Because they were sold out of apples.

have a cake and you'll get over it.
Anything has got to be better than their previous banal offerings.
B00 , you are not alone - I have long been a fan of Skeletor.
I certainly wouldn't describe them as banal.
