God It's Annoying When.....

When you get a load of dirty washing from wash basket in bathroom, take downstairs and put in machine, put detergent in and switch on- to then turn around and see you've dropped a sock half way across kitchen floor!! Grrrr! Drives me mad. Anyone else do this all the time, or similar?

for me its tissues, there is always one in the pocket of the cardy i forgot about, ruins half the damn wash..

lol..all the time..and oh, despite my asking at least 3 times and the machine is on , wanders in with a hand full of pants socks and jeans...

Yes very annoying when that happens, although on occasion a wayward sock has been seen crawling and gasping heading toward the washer on it own volition.

I think the socks escape to that magical places where all odd socks go! I have a whole pile of them! I give it three months then if the missing ones don't turn up I throw them out. I then magically have another pile a few weeks later!!

I find a lot down the backs of radiators, covered in dust. Only a stick gets them out.

It happens to me too Smow! So annoying! All depends how I feel, I might quickly wash a sock by hand or throw it back in laundry basket in disgust... Why is it when you have missed a tissue, that it happens to be in with your new black top or nice dark red cardigan?? Gggrrrrr!..
