Just in from an extended Dog walk, the sun is shining, the sky is blue, it's cool but not unpleasant, went out about 0700, shirtsleeve order, walked down towards Reculver where the Country Park is, seen bits of Coast never seen before, nothing special just new, it was nice.
Lets hope spring is here for the weekend at least ;o)

Hi Baldric, bit late I know, but it has been beautiful up here again all day with more promised for tomorrow. "Garden tidy up" has been the orders for the weekend so that is happening. Like the idea of the "pub dogs" and can even resist an analogy. Early night for me, as far as I'm concerned it is 22.54 so that tomorrow is not in fast forward for the first few hours. The...

The Country Park runs West from the Towers towards Bishopstone, it's a lovely area, not exciting, just nice, pleasant.
Nice here too. It was chilly when I put the recycling out this morning but has warmed up now. This is my kind of weather. I find summer in the UK too humid so this is perfect.
Nice pic Baldric! It's been warm here too, jacket off, wonderful. It was really nice to see young ones out with their parents going in to the local park laughing & enjoying the sunshine. It's what we've all needed!

I've just staggered in from giving the back grass its first cut of the year, having ½ hour with a cold beer then away with the dogs again, weather's just to good to miss atm.
I've been out for a drink/ meal, wandered round Manchester in the sunshine, fabulous!

Popped into one of the 'Locals on way back, must have been a popular dog walking day as we ended up with 8 or 9 dogs under the big table, all experienced 'Pub Dogs' as they just kinda flaked out together and all got along nicely, always good to see ;o)
What a beautiful day! Getting cold now and we are getting back to reality with Mr J2 out in the garage wrestling with re-setting the timer on the boiler - we'll discover the result in the morning!

Had an early Mother's Day treat when eldest sprog and granddaughter came over and whipped us off to posh fish & chips (good restaurant) because they can't make it tomorrow.

When walking dog this a.m. buds are bursting; hawthorns are greening; there are banks of violets on the lane; celandines are sparkling everywhere in the verges and I even spotted an early periwinkle in flower................blissful, 'cos the sun was warm too!

Have even heard a Cuckoo the last 2 days down in the Park which is good.

The stars are absolutely crystal tonight and the visibility out to sea is astounding. Especially after my cataract ops have been done.
I've been cooped up all day today and when I came outside I was surprised how nippy it was. There is a sneaky wind from the NE. Hopefully I can get some gardening done tomorrow before going away again.
