I saw this on the news today, and I would have thought that Mrs May would have been safer staying where she was, inside Parliament, instead of being bundled into a car and driven somewhere else.

The Prime Minister was taken to Downing street where I presume they would have a 'safe' room.

At the time Vulcan, it probably wasn't clear that there was only one terrorist, and driving anywhere in cars would seem to me to riskier than staying inside Parliament.

I suppose we should be grateful that some gawper was pointing a camera from that vantage point and not something more lethal.
Questions need to be asked about the master plan and security in general.
