Is there somwhere online where I can view my parents' wedding certificate?

I don't want to sign up for free trials of anything, neither do I need a copy. I just want to view it, to check the date.

Maybe it was witnessed by the uncle as he may have been the Best Man/Grooms Man, My parents wedding cert was witnessed by the bridesmaid and best man even though others were there

That'll be it, Ducksie. Thank you.

It was a bit of a swizz getting the certificate though. I needed it quickly and my options were snail mail £10.00 or recorded delivery £20.00 plus £3.64 postage and packaging!

...and the postman didn't come until 3.50pm! He was on his second round. I have had a wasted day, stuck in, waiting for the post.
It wasn't wasted tilly ;) you got the post you waited for :) I'm delighted you sorted it, here in Ireland you just got to births, deaths and marriages office or online and it's printed before you leave the office, I'm well delighted with that service

Ducksie, can you go and get my mother and father in law's birth certificates for me, please? Then Mr T can apply for his Irish passport.

We have no records of their life in Ireland.
It's easy, just log into gov.ie births, deaths and marriages, once you know the dates of birth, place - county, they were mainly home births up to 60 years ago, the birth is now registered and available online
It's in Irish with English translation, actually, it's the HSE have it, like the NHS

I'll give that a go. Thanks again, Ducksie.
I hope it helps, seems long and high faluting, it's only the addresses

Dublin and Limerick is what I need. I'll have a look.
I meant to add tilly, I needed my parents details and while I am in one county, their details were from 2 other counties, now it's all central, once I gave the secretary their details, she just pulled them up on screen, I didn't have to travel around the place, it was all done in my local office
