convinced that the theme tune to tv drama Cranford is the same. Are there pieces that you find similar.

If you watch any TV programme made by Columbia, you will hear six notes, which are identical to the first six of the seven notes to the opening of the Star Wars theme.

Haven't listened to this yet, will do later - but Rutter is a favourite with our singing group. He's awfully difficult to sing and demands a huge range - but the music is heavenly.

Just listened ( with closed eyes) my first reaction was Rutter. All 6 of us are due to sing 'Look at the world' at a huge (for Filey) concert next month and I'm scared already!
To anyone who doesn't know Rutter, try 'Look at the world' and the glorious 'Angel's Carol'.
