You must admit as well Naomi that Trump does not help himself in this regard: I'd go back to the Alex Ferguson Matt Busby story where the latter advised the former to ignore the press: just get on and govern in a less confrontational way. If you think the 'fake news' is going to stop because you start banning people then you are probably deluded.

Just before someone jumps down your throat, Khan is not Lord Mayor, merely mayor. Lord Mayor is a separate ceremonial office, far removed from the world of politics.
