Using Packard Bell HDMI on Windows 10.
I wish to print off a copy of what is exactly showing on my screen. I am using a Family Tree programme which contains a list of all the files that make up the programme. I wish to print that list. CTRL+C does not seem to send anything to clipboard. I think I have sent the list to Burn a disc but that will not then open. I have tried sending the list to Documents etc but no success in finding it. Your advice please.

Use the Windows Snipping Tool. You'll find it via Start > All Programs > Accessories. (That's the route in Windows 7 but it should be similar in W10). Use the Windows Snipping Tool. You'll find it via Start > All Programs > Accessories. (That's the route in Windows 7 but it should be similar in W10). Once you've found it, I suggest right-clicking on it and selecting 'Pin to taskbar'. Then you can access it more easily in future.

Once the snipping tool is activated you simply use your mouse (with the left button held down) to draw a rectangle around the relevant area. Then go to File > Save As to save it as a jpeg image. (You can then import that into a Word document, or similar, if you wish).
PS: The Snipping Tool allows you to crop to just part of your screen. If you're sure that you want the entire screen (including your taskbar, etc), it's not Ctrl C which you need to copy it to your clipboard but 'Print Screen (aka 'Prt Scrn', or similar). Once you've pressed that button you can go to any suitable program (such as Word or Paint) and paste the image there.
Excuse me for jumping in but could someone please explain how I do this on my Mac desktop.
Thanks a lot Chris.
