Hello Mr Ed

There is something weird going on with avatars.

For instance "samjenko" is currently a jellyman when posing on threads, but has an avatar on his/her profile page.

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/members/samjenko/

The avatar is one that I'm fairly sure was used at one time by the banned user "svejk" and so can have no possible connection with "samjenko" who is a very new user.

All quite peculiar ...

Lots of spammers have had avatars recently..
Tangly but not surprised at all.
Yes I've noticed this avatar thing as well, Dave.
I mentioned this yesterday. Two days ago my avatar was showing in latest posts but was jellymen against my answer in the thread. Yesterday the reverse happened to a fellow poster.
Surely you're not suggesting Svejk has been reincarnated? They have gotten to grips with the site very quickly tho. ;-)
As I went to ban a newly-joined spammer recently, I noticed that they'd got a 'Minions' avatar (which I remember being used by someone else here at one time) on their profile page.

I blame Cupid...on my laptop yesterday every third poster had her newly found avatar.....☺
Yes avatars have been appearing in some places for a few users without avatars on most posts- happened with TTT and his old R1G avatar for example. Some new users have had avatars instantly. It may be the avatars are being picked up from Wordpress based on their email address
Yes, , All quite peculiar ... Dear-Dave
Mine seems to be pixelating but I've got some ointment.
