Getting Rid Of My Pin Number, On Laptop.

While looking in 'Control Panel' to change some pc personalisation things, I now have to put in a pin number, every time I dont use it for 5/8 minutes, which is annoying.

How do I cancel it out? Thanks.

At a guess . . .

Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Change Screensaver (under Personalization) and remove the tick against 'On Resume, Display Logon Screen'.
(That's for Windows 7 but it's likely to be similar with other versions of Windows)

I am on Win8.1 and after doing what you said, I still have to put my 4 digit number in when I click to start.
