Brian Matthew is no longer to grace the airwaves of Radio 2. Time to bring back Diddy David in my opinion. Who'd be your choice?

Diddy is in his late 70s but still looks and sounds fine. A brilliant DJ

I'm glad Brian Matthews is hanging up his earphones. His voice is very irritating now.
We used to love Sarah Kennedy in the mornings. We always found her very entertaining.
I'm sure all the suggestions are capable presenters. but can they discuss sixties music from a position of knowledge?

Mushroom, they don't have to discuss 60s music, or know anything about it, all they have to do is read out the script - it's all written by Phil Swern!
As I've posted elsewhere, Johnnie Walker would be my choice. As a former Radio Caroline DJ, he's ideal as a presenter of 'Sound of the Sixties'.

Hopkirk:
While I love the Dark Lord, he needs to have a slot where his eccentricities can be allowed to flourish. That wouldn't be the case if he was take on a show with a pre-defined format (such as 'Sound of the Sixties'); he needs to be allowed to 'do his own thing'.

Disaster! Dermot Oh So Dreary has been given the Saturday breakfast show on Radio 2, and Sounds Of The Sixties has been demoted to the 6-8am slot. R2 bosses are not listening to their listeners
