She possibly imagines that the new president is omnipotent and is about to make real all the bluff and bluster from the campaign trail.
He isn't and may soon be tweeting about how his hands are tied by corrupt, lazy politicians and civil servants.

Well I've read about someone called Lily Allen (me neither) and apparently she is on record as saying (or rather TwitFacing, because nobody in their right mind would give her a stage from which to speak) that nobody likes Britain "cause (sic) slavery".

If her ramblings are an example of what the "sisterhood" has to say then I think I'll pass on the rest, thanks.

The phrase I have often heard is 'solidarity'. Thick as thieves springs to mind.

It's like a lot of folk are protesting because others are protesting. However, as has already been identified, some can give no logical reason for their actions/views when they are asked outright.
