My local, which I have frequented for the last 46 years has a new hotel manageress. She is the daughter of the hotel owner. The public bar has prominent notices saying that no persons under 18 will be admitted. This rule was made by the owner's late husband. Today the manageress brought her 12 week old son into the bar while she drank rose wine and G&Ts. Then she proceeded to change her son's soiled nappy. people were eating and drinking at the time.
Under Scots law is this legal?

bog awful, I would think....
Legal but disgusting.

I am glad to see someone else has sampled the "delights" of Saltcoats ;)
Ummmm. What ?
mate of mine's Dad ran the Borstal there......the best things there are the roads, ferry and rail-lines out of the place.
You're suggesting that changing a baby's nappy means they are unhygienic in the kitchen?
Not illegal but it wont do much for business.
You should report them to the procrea the procuray the prucuray....the police!
// So, for example, it's a total myth that dogs aren't allowed in bars where food is being served.//

the acorn hotel in Evershot ( whcih is not exactly near the border ) will serve you food in the bar along with your dog - and outside
( dog friendly as you might think )
// You should report them to the procrea the procuray the prucuray....the police!//

all the scots drunk or sober have difficulty with this and get over it with
" the fuskie !"
Ps going off at a tangent, apparently it is pretty common for passengers to change a nappy on the fold down tray on an aircraft.
Just thought I'd share that with you.
