I have an old Menorah (Candelabra for the Channukah Festival) and on the base are the markings "R.C.Y."
Can anyone help me identify what these markings mean...or provide me with direction as to where I might find this information.
Many thanks.

It appears to be simply the manufacturer's mark, as here:

However the actual name of the manufacturer appears to be lost in obscurity.

Various web references suggest that 'R.C.Y' was based in Israel which, in its modern form, has only existed since 1948. So it seems unlikely that your menorah has any great antiquity. Further, pages like these suggest that the 1960s might be around the period of manufacture:

'RCY' seems to be a fairly common mark on menorahs. e.g.

Buenchico...many thanks for this very comprehensive response. Sincerely appreciated. Was not expecting it to be worth oodles of cash, but more interested in the marking and the origin. You have satisified that and I thank you.
