I used to have a recipe where you made a sticky sort of barbecue type topping and this was spread on slices of gammon which were then grilled. I can't remember what I did to make the topping. Has anyone any ideas please?

Well for similar cuts I mix mustard (whatever your preference) brown sugar and a little honey.
