Made this today but neither the custard or the jelly part have set.

ie how to I thicken the custard that I have made.

And I presume that I need to add more geletin to the jelly part but how do I do it? Do I need to warm it and then add the soaked geletin sheets or can I do it from cold?
If all from scratch add more eggs to custard arrowroot is better to thicken tastes less floury, jelly more jelly less water, if fruit in base add sugar girsch ameretti biscuits stir all then leave!! Standing timethen fruit jelly less water than requimended

Nope - not from scratch - I am hoping to remedy both of them.

Think I will try adding cornflour (mixed with water) into custard warming on the ring.
I am currently reheating the fruit mixture and will try adding more geletin.
Hopefully no pineapple in the jelly...
