Can refunds only be given to the value of the current price of an item or the price you paid for it?
For example - you purchase an item for £300 but it is not suitable so you return it the next day. However a 50% off sale started on the day you return it. Should you get £300 back or £150?

It's the Consumer Contract Regs 2015 that you need to quote to them if they refuse to refund in full.

The Distance Selling Regs have been abolished.
