Trying to place ad for selling an item on eBay. Have been doing this for years.
Problems with current ad. Trying to put item on for auction only.
Won't let me do it. Keeps flagging up notice saying "listing error. To require immediate payment you must specify a buy it now price." But it is for auction only. Have checked and rechecked and tried to read redo but keeps coming back to this notice. Any help please.

Have you highlighted the Auction box? Is the Buy It Now highlighted instead?
What have you put as the starting price?
Question Author
Auction box highlighted and buy it now says none. Starting price £9.99
Have you accidentally ticked something that says you require immediate payment?
There is a box on the listing page that says 'Require immediate payment when the buyer uses buy it now' You must have clicked on the box, you need to 'un-click it'.
