Friday. No frost this morning. Wonderful! :o}

I was at the hospice last night for the auction on line on Ebay. It was a lovely evening and a lot of lovely people were there. The bar was busy, although anyone driving home resisted the temptation.

An Anthony Gormley picture raised £2,700, it was the star of the show. The total raised was a tad over £20,000. An excellent amount for an excellent cause. There was one item I had my eye on and put a bid in. It went for more that twice that. :o{

I'm going to make some scotch eggs today. I haven't done them for ages.

soup for the heart - butternut squash and cauliflower with potato just to thicken. And a wee wee tip of curry. That'll help your cold

the chemist offered packets/granules or tabs...went for tabs as can put them in bag and take them wherever I am....

'morning all, just in from the yomp along the front, all showered and squeaky clean now. Pleasant day here, dry, bit grey, hardly any wind and fresh rather than cold, it's ok.
