We have just bought a new TV & are having problems connecting our Sky Box. It is the white Sky Box-not Sky+. Our previous TV had 2 aerial sockets-one for the TV one for the Sky box. The new TV only has one aerial socket then 2 HDMI connectors one marked HDMI (PC/DVI) the other HDMI (STB) and a USB socket. Do we now need a HDMI cable to connect the Sky box? Does anyone know if the Sky box we have (an old one) supports the use of an HDMI connector?

Does the new tv have phono sockets - yellow, red and white?

Is so then you need a scart to phono cable
The arial bit is easy enough you just connect to the sky box from the arial then connect second lead from sky box to the tv and as long as the sky box is turned on the signal should pass from one to the other.

Nope. You can get a scart to HDMI adaptor, but they extraordinarily expensive. Your best option would be to upgrade your Sky box.
