Has anyone ever seen a video of the Isley brothers performing either This old heat of mine l , hear a symphoney or Put yourself in my place l search You Tube every week but nothing

Summer Breeze etc was more thier funk period This old heart of mine was the classic motown era but sure it doesnt exist but was a massive hit

Videos were not a big thing in the time you're looking for, I think they brought in videos to sell records back in the late 70's/80's - I could be wrong. I think if you get anything from that time it could be from the Ed Sullivan show maybe. That's a big if :(

Weren't their songs great?? Got a large Motown collection. Painted Smile has always been my favourite since a young teenager..

Reaaly struggling to get this across l have seen plenty of audio of Isley Brothers early hits even Audio and live (in person visual ) recording of their later hits but never any ( visual ) performances of them performing thier early hits on This old heart of mine album either in concert at the time of the album or official video at the time of the album release

Has ducksie say's there probably isn't any. Most likely promoted at the time on US tv, if they were broadcast live at the time there will be no tape of it and if it was a recorded broadcast tapes most likely lost, destroyed or just plain old thrown away long time ago.

You will need to trawl the National Film Archives and even then you may only get mimed performances pete.

You're welcome, doesn't look like it's gonna happen. If you think of the time, in America, they wouldn't have had as much air time as let's say white artistes. Pity you didn't get what you looked for this time around, I hope you'll get to sleep though
