If anyone watched the BBC's first series of The Missing, did it "contain scenes of a sexual nature" - as they usually say? Ta Muchly.

Very Many Thanks Tilly - now I can buy it for someone in complete 'safety'.
It is not easy viewing, Woodelf. Mature themes, as they say.

I know Tilly, I'm trying to understand Missing 2 and my partner is having a real tough time trying to explain what's going on!...we'll get there in the end though, no doubt.
Two more episodes to go and all will be revealed, Woodelf. :-)
There was a bit of 'how's ya father' in one episode, between Stone Webster, but nothing to write home about.

Very good series though. Do we think the daughter is really dead, or not?
Question Author
Many Thanks for that helpful hint Rocky, but I still think it'll be OK to buy and not embarrass?
It was a very brief scene, just enough to let you know they were having an affair.
I'd say it would be fine and not embarrassing.
I was trying to explain the story to my son this week, it is not easy!
Hi Woodelf, I think you'll be fine to buy it - all is within the context of the storyline and not gratuitous.

Glad you're doing well.

Take care.

Many Thanks Chelle and Mamya for the reassurance...big wavy smile!
Woodelf, just to clarify, you are asking about the first series, aren't you? The one with James Nesbitt in it, rather than the current one?
Question Author
Yes Tilly, the first series with James Nesbitt.
