Just watching this programme. Isn't it time Noel Fitzpatrick had a knighthood.
He is the nicest, kindest, caring person on tv.

Great job that he does but doesn't it give false hope to those that can't afford such operations on their pets and in most cases would be told by your average vet that the animal is beyond help and would be better off being put to sleep
brainiac - the owners of the pets pay themselves. Most probably have insurance, but some just dig deep into their savings. I remember one woman using her wedding fund !
Most are covered by insurance - others have to find it if they can. They know when being referred that it is not going to be cheap, so they have an idea. Can anyone tell me what happened to the little black dog from Switzerland, I had a phone call just as he came back for a check up and missed what happened, then saw at the end he had died. Noel Fitzpatrick's company has just bought out the National Pet Show which was at the NEC last week, and was previously held at Excel. He does a 'stage' show there telling stories of his many cases.
He went back to Switzerland with his owner lankeela, seems they had a few more months together before he died.
Thanks, I am pleased at that outcome.
I don't know whether this is true but I've read or heard somewhere that just a consultation with him is £1k.
